Dishwasher Powder + Rinse Aid + Descaler
Ingredients
Dishwasher powder
- 200 g Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate of soda)
- 200 g Washing soda (soda crystals/sodium carbonate/soda ash)
- 200 g Citric acid
- 10 drops Essential oil (lemon) (optional)
Rinse aid
- Alcohol vinegar (8%)
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients well (wear gloves/mask if dusty).
- Store in airtight jar.
- For tablets: Add a little water/lemon juice to make a damp mix, press into ice-cube trays or silicone moulds, dry overnight.
- Usage: 3 tbsp per load in the detergent compartment. Pair with vinegar rinse aid below for best results.
- Use your 8% alcohol vinegar undiluted: fill the rinse aid compartment with it. Top up as needed.It prevents water spots, aids drying, and fights limescale. Perfect for UK hard water areas.
- Run an empty hot cycle with citric acid occasionally to descale.
